Heather Short

Thank you for viewing my page. I am a "single" mother of two, my son and duaghter are what fuel my passions and are my world. I want the world to be a better place for them (and everyone) when they are older and have to take over.

I have experience in costumer service in many respects. From waiting tables, taking orders at fast food restaurants, check out at department stores etc. I have also worked in the world of cubicles typing away entering data. (I didn't enjoy tihs AS much but I was good at it since I have been typing since I was 6 years old)

I have albinism, thus I am "legally" blind. This has never held me back from reaching my goals, or completeing any task (this is also why I have been typing from the age of six)

I also have managerial experience in the area of costumer service. And around 16 years of experience in volunteerism and fundraising. From nursing homes to animal rescue groups my volunteerism and fundraising experience is limitless. Most recently and ongoing is my help with a local non profit, no kill, animal rescue organization. I help organize and fund events, as well as obtain donations of all types.

Giving of my time and caring is my proudest work, and what I enjoy the most. That is what I want to pass on to my children the most. Money is a necessary evil in todays world, but it is NOT what brings happiness.
