Heather Sterman
UX Researcher and Media Librarian in New York, NY
Salut! I'm an Information Professional with 13 years of experience in cataloging, circulating and researching physical & digital assets in film and television archives. I'm leveraging the skills from my previous professional role towards a career transition into User Experience Research. My keen attention to details and interest in psychology, as well as effective problem solving & team work skills, make me a great fit for a UX Research role.
I received my MLIS in 2013, and successfully completed General Assembly's 10-week Web Design Circuit in 2017. I've also taken online & in-person courses in Web Design, Front-End Web Development & UX Design with Skillcrush, Girl Develop It, Bitesize UX, Coffee & Coded, Codecademy, and Designation.
To further my professional training, I've enrolled in the Flatiron's School UX/UI immersive, where I am learning the trades necessary in order to land my first role in the exciting field of User Experience.
