During the summer of 2016 I'll be taking a career break after working at the University of Glasgow for 22yrs. I've had an exciting and varied career there working as a Subject then College Librarian to support staff and students in the European Documentation Centre andschools of law, life Sciences, veterinary, human and dental medicine.

I'm a firm believer that everyone should know how to discover, locate and access the information they need whether that be for formal education or to support them in everyday life.

I'm a keen adopter of technology and social media. Developing new, technology enhanced, ways to support people in the development of their digital and information skills is proving to be both fun and interesting.

Out of work I'm kept busy by my ponies and garden.
