Welcome to my adventure with God and my three little people!

I am a Christian (the born again, Jesus is the hope of the world kind), a Texan (but NOT the on the seventh day, God created Texas kind), a wife to the amazingly funny JD, a mother to three MIRACLES, and a city dweller (actually in the city limits or inside the loop as we call it in my city). For blogging purposes, we'll call my little people Piper, Abraham and Jubilee. (Yes, those were my picks that the husband would NOT approve!) My greatest desire in life is to know and love God. The greatest responsibility that He has given me is to lead my three little friends to know and love Him!

Once, a lifetime ago, I was a children's minister. For over ten years, I served God's children and families in the church, and now God has called me to minister to my own. In the last seven years, I have experienced some challenges: three years of my husband's unemployment, infertility, two miscarriages, a son born with a congenital heart condition, and the near collapse of my marriage. They haven't defined who I am, but they sure have reinforced my perspective that my kids must meet Jesus if they are going to survive this crazy world!

So I'm blogging to share what I am doing to set them up for spiritual success, so to speak. I'm learning ALOT along the way, so don't be surprised if things turn around here and there. Motherhood is crowded with lots of chores and challenges, but I want to make sure that in the midst of the chaos, I am making space for God to reveal Himself to me and my kids. Because He is the LORD!
