Heather Abbey is a proud California native, a coffee snob, and fan of loud music. In Heather's professional life she is the go-to real estate agent in Oakland and surrounding cities. Heather's passion and gift is working with people to help them to identify, and ACHIEVE their goals, of homeownership, of art collection, of dance, of creating. But what else is she into besides, home sales. The arts? Mind expansion? Saving historic buildings? Dirty Dance Floors? Placing paint brushes in the hands of the self-unsuspecting artist? During 2 year hiatus from the real estate world, Heather took the digital media world by storm as she developed a method for organic engagement in social video for big brands, working for the no-longer: Alphabird. During this inspired time she was instrumental in the architecture, development and community management of Placevine.com Alphabird’s social platform dedicated to bringing passionate content producers together with marketers and their agencies to create socially engaging branded video experiences. Heather has dedicated her time to staffing non-profit music events, and interactive, real time art projects. Heather's work includes public speaking, forging strategic partnerships, events, PR, brand integration, channel development and audience acquisition within the YouTube space. Heather is a graduate of University of Oregon. She fancies herself an artist...from time to time.
