Heather Alberro

I will be commencing my PhD at Nottingham Trent University this upcoming fall, and will be specializing in human perceptions of nature and animals. I received my MSc in environmental social science from the University of Kent, and my BA in sociology, English literature, and philosophy from the University of Miami. I'm a native Spanish speaker of Cuban ancestry, an avid reader, and a passionate enthusiast of all things relating to sustainable and harmonious man-nature interactions. My aim is to share ideas and perspectives that will intrigue, challenge, and inspire others, while in the process invoking positive changes in the ways we perceive and interact with the myriad components of the grand web of life.
