Working closely with local city officials, DDA offices, Chambers of Commerce and Oakland County allows me many opportunities to assist businesses with economic development, human resources support, business relationship growth, applying for appropriate funding and talent acquisition. Referral networking, connecting great people and creating community collaboration are my favorite things! Social media collaboration, content creation, and social media management are components I greatly enjoy.

Speaking and teaching on topics related to social media engagement, I frequently present locally and regionally. Some of my favorite engagements include: Automation Alley; Kelly Services Corporate; Oscoda Chamber of Commerce Gala; Revenue North; Michigan Council of Women in Technology; Tech Town and many more.

Additionally, I manage a Workshop and Special Events Program. Teaching adults who have been recently laid-off, are in career transition or entering a new field is extremely rewarding. The presentations I create and teach center around resume development, networking, interviewing, customer service, the multi-generational workforce and social media for professional success. Connecting great people to fantastic companies is the result of doing both jobs, which is wonderful.

Community is very important to me, and I serve on several committees and boards with the Ferndale Downtown Development Authority, Ferndale Schools and the City of Ferndale.

I am very proud to be a contributing author to The LeadChange Group (www.leadchangegroup.com), and particularly excited about our book "The Character Based Leader: Instigating a Leadership Revolution," released via Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
