With over fifteen years of experience in marketing and communications, Heathfer has extensive experience in corporate dvelopment and messaging, brand creation and management, planning, execution and strategic management of client online needs. She began her career in e-commerce marketing, developing advertising for one of the largest B2B websites. In 2003, she joined Moxie and continued her online marketing career working on advertising campaigns for the Branding, Youth, Hispanic, and Business segments for Verizon Wireless, as well as campaigns for UPS.
In 2006, she migrated onto the newly acquired Home Depot account, where she has successfully grew the account from one microsite to over 30 creative digital experiences a year, including Black Friday websites for the holidays.
Heather’s focus for The Home Depot centered around creating best-in-class online experiences that generated online sales while also driving in-store retail traffic.
As the Account Director for The Home Depot, Heather lead the strategic partnership between The Home Depot and Moxie. She supported the retail channel, e-commerce initiatives, 360 degree brand integrations and overall digital marketing strategy.

In 2009, Heather transitioned into a new role as a marketing and communications expert for the agency during a period of transition. She grew the role into a department and manages all internal communication, branding, PR, social, agency website, intranet development and marketing efforts for Moxie.
Her passion and commitment for driving consistent, honest and effective communications has enhanced the agency environment and contributed to the people-first culture.
Heather is passionate about animals, travel, photography, writing and her family and friends. She has survived Enron, a flesh-eating bacteria, and over 26 moves in her short-lifetime. She is an advocate for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and animal rights causes.
