I'm also the founder of Exposed DC, an organization that provides networking, mentoring, and exhibit opportunities for Washington, D.C. area photographers. The venture is an evolution of the DCist Exposed Photography Show, an annual contest and exhibit started in 2006. We produce a photo magazine with the winners each year, and our website offers information, challenges, and social events for local photographers.
I have a degree in non-fiction writing from Ohio Wesleyan University, where I minored in physics and astronomy, and a law degree from American University.
