Heather Mangal
New York, NY
Heather grew up in Woodstock, NY. The water must have had hippy in it because Heather left the town as a tree hugging, animal loving, free spirit who is obsessed with making the world a better place for all living beings!
In college, Heather dappled as a science major, an art major, and an architecture major until she decided writing was her passion as well as her talent and a degree in journalism is what she got!
Heather interned with Good Housekeeping magazine; she did a social media/ marketing internship with PETA, and a marketing/ publicity internship with Media Connect, a division of Finn Partners, which eventually landed her a job as a publicist at the firm.
Heather also attends graduate school at Seton Hall University where she is pursuing her MPA degree with a concentration in nonprofit management. She currently works as a social media coordinator for The Story Exchange, a 501c3 nonprofit video initiative and digital platform that aims to increase the exposure and understanding of entrepreneurial women around the world.
