Heather Michaud

Hello, and thanks for being here! My name is Heather and I currently work in the federal public service as a Program Officer on the Learning and Development team at a large government department. I have a keen interest in the area of learning, teaching, training, and education.

Specifically, I am very interested in the development of training programs that are designed for learners with accessibility issues and various forms of neuro-divergence. I see a gap in how our training is delivered across the government, so I am trying to advance my education on the subject of learning and teaching and specifically instructional design, so I can apply new knowledge and skills to helping develop accessible training programs at my department and beyond.
