I have worn so many hats in the field of journalism that even the Queen Mother would envy my collection.

I've worked for a beauty trade magazine, an online tech magazine, a city magazine and spent many years as a newspaper reporter and columnist. I have written about homelessness and hot dog eating contests, snarky pieces on sex advice and serious articles about survivors of sexual abuse. Versatility is a virtue for any journalist.

These days, I spend most days ruling the blogosphere from my bed.
