I work at The University of Alabama as an Associate Director of Institutional Effectiveness. In that role, I support planning and evaluation/assessment for our campus and direct a five-year project to improve student problem-solving through high quality experiential learning opportunities. I love helping individuals and groups of people actualize meaningful goals--especially when those goals connect to student learning and the creation of positive outcomes for diverse communities.

I am a creative thinker/scholar who has worked in higher education for the past sixteen years. My skill set includes expertise in qualitative research and program evaluation, project development and management, community-based scholarship (especially community-university collaboration and family-school-community partnerships), digital storytelling and civic media.
