Heather Robinson

I’m a painter working in San Francisco. My educational background is in architectural design, which initially sparked the fascination with ornament and pattern that drives my artwork. After working as a web and graphic designer, I began creating collages and eventually moved to mixed-media painting. I am inspired by the intersection between fine art and fine craft, and I’m always delighted by how humans are compelled to decorate the everyday objects around them.
