Heather Scott Partington

Heather Scott Partington was raised in California's central valley and earned a BA in English Lit from UC Davis. A classically trained ballet dancer, she danced for several companies in the Sacramento area. Heather is a high school English teacher, wife, and mom to two kiddos, Addie and Hank.
Heather is a staff reviewer for Electric Literature and blogger at Ploughshares. Her writing has appeared at The Los Angeles Review of Books, The Rumpus, and Bookslut. She is the former book reviews editor for The Coachella Review and holds an MFA in Fiction from UC Riverside’s Palm Desert Campus.
