Heather Timm
Heather is a web strategy and technology consultant who is passionate about helping organizations position themselves properly in the ever-changing digital age. She is currently working with a major television and entertainment industry client in Los Angeles to help them build more brand awareness, increase tune-in, grow their fan base, and engage more directly with their consumers.
Prior to consulting, Heather was Sr. Manager of Digital Media for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Under her guidance and leadership, the foundation’s digital reach increased over 300%. She was instrumental in launching the foundation’s social media presence and their first blog. Her team launched and supported major online campaigns and communication initiatives such as the Living Proof Project, Impatient Optimist, and Bill Gates Annual Letter. She also played a critical role in the redesign of the foundation’s web site which was nominate for two Webby Awards and honored as best in class for navigation and structure.
