I've spent the better part of twenty years running things that weren't mine - schools, racecourses, town centres, executive boards - and somewhere along the way picked up an unhealthy obsession with leadership and finding commercial opportunity where everyone else sees a cost centre.
My career has taken me from the events team at Cheltenham Racecourse to the Commercial Manager's office at Cheltenham Ladies' College, from the Chief Executive's chair at Cheltenham BID to the Commercial Director role at Wishford Education. Each one taught me something different about how organisations grow, where they leave money on the table, and why the gap between good and great is almost always a leadership problem dressed up as something else.
In 2025 I co-founded Team Enterprises whilst also being Deputy CEO at Stroud Town Council, because apparently one job was never going to be enough for my busy mind.
I write about leadership, commercial thinking, and the founder journey on LinkedIn, where I try to make the complicated stuff feel a little more human and the obvious stuff feel a little less obvious.
