Heath Morrison

Heath Morrison, a superintendent from Charlotte, NC, is the superintendent of Montgomery ISD in Montgomery, TX. Prior to his current position, Heath Morrison was President of the McGraw-Hill School Group, and has previously worked as a teacher, principal, and superintendent. He has amassed over 30 years of experience as an education leader, leaving a stream of successes, such as increased graduation rates and test scores.

Heath Morrison's efforts as a superintendent in administration have earned him several prestigious awards, including the School Superintendents Association's 2012 Superintendent of the Year Award. He was also awarded the title of 2011 Nevada Superintendent of the Year. Heath's number one goal throughout his entire career has been to provide support to teachers so that they feel empowered and capable—therefore better suited to positively influence a generation of students.
