heavie is the stage name of the Ankara-based dj & producer, Deniz Agah.. As a resident DJ of club20, the most infamous club in Ankara he continued to make people dance with his out of the ordinary sound. In 2006 he worked as the resident dj of SmooD lounge ,where he hosted such djs as housemeister and electrixx . He quit djing shortly after the management requested him to turn the music more mainstream. He partied abroad espically at Social Club, Kitsune parties, and Ed Banger parties. In 2009 he returned to the dancefloor with the Wasted Turkish Youth parties. His avant-garde style saw a lot of support from many recognized Turkish djs such as dj Tutan. From the trash nights of Puhu to his Sound of Ankara parties he continued to make people dance with his strange sound. If you still haven't listen to his Sisko-Disko set , you should ! Nowadays heavie is obsessed with mixing indie,electro,electro-clash,hipster techno, nu disco and funky disco to his uplifting melodies. I hope you'll listen to heavie live someday.
