Keith is a Yorkshireman and an authority on working and living with big horses.

He has been a newspaper ad designer and copywriter, car and lorry salesman for Rootes Group Vehicles, salesman for Firestone Tyres (UK), transport manager, photojournalist, mobile crane driver and HGV driver. As well as working with heavy horses for over 25 years.

His first "Sammy the Shire Horse" books for children were published in 1992 and are now republished as e books and audio books.

Keith began writing his "diary stories" for his local newspaper in 1991 while running the Heavy Horse Centre. They continue today and now number over 300 individual stories in four books.

Keith is a confirmed Christian and now lives in France with his wife Ruth.
