Heber Ortiz Pereira

I have more than 20 years of experience developing software, and 15 years of experience using .NET languages to create and implement software applications. I have had several moments in my career that I acted as Team Leader, and since 2016 I have been working as a Software Architect, having the opportunity to design software using a lot of technologies not based only in Microsoft ecosystem.

I thrive on being challenged and engaging with projects which require me to work outside my comfort zone, expanding my knowledge base and pushing innovative boundaries in my work. Possessing the drive to continually learn of new technologies and development techniques are highly important to me and are an imperative attribute for the success of your organization.

I am continuously working on my personal development and education within the software engineer sector. I keep up to date with the latest innovations, not only with the Microsoft platform but also open-sourced ones, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and others supported by CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation).

My expertise includes:

- Knowledgeable in back-end development best practices
- Hands-on software troubleshooting experience
- Advanced knowledge of microservices development
- Certified as a Professional Scrum Master I, by Scrum.org

In Brazil, I was well known by the .NET community for my contributions to the tech industry and community, and I was invited to speak at a highly prestigious event in the Brazilian tech scene, The Developer’s Conference for three consecutive years. In 2018, I was also chosen to be the coordinator of the .NET Architecture track for the event. This recognition positively reflects my value, skills and experience within the Brazilian tech scene.
