Alex Heck

Growing up on a small farm in Dufferin County tought me many things about life, death and our existance on this planet. This land has given me a deep appreciation for the resources which sustain life. I have began to understand how we interact with our environments, how heavily we rely on them and how we must work to maintain balance within them. It is my personal committment to advocate in behalf of the earth's ecosystems; starting with my home.

I have written political and environemental articles for local newspapers, and have hosted an online radio show called "Little's Corner". I am currently pursuing an education in Journalism at Ryerson University, with hopes of covering some of the earth's most pertinent environmental issues.
