Heidi Echternacht has worked with Young Children for over 20 years. She teaches Kindergarten in Princeton, NJ, USA. She began her lifelong work with children at age fifteen.
Heidi is CoFounder of Kinderchat, an ongoing Global conversation among Early Childhood Educators. Heidi has hosted Ellen Galinsky and the world famous children's singer Raffi on Kinderchat. Kinderchat is listed in the US Dept of Education's Community Directory.
Heidi has been mentioned in Forbes Magazine for her work, was cited in USC Rossier's "Thank-A-Teacher" blog and recently began Communications work in a new ISTE Special Interest Group for Early Learning and Technology.
Her most recent projects include working on different projects for Connected Educator's Month and creating the new Kinderchat.org website which launched in August 2014. Her creativity and big thinking continuously push the boundaries in the realm of teaching and learning.
