Mezzo-soprano Heidi Jost is a versatile musician with a passion for performance and pedagogy. She has performed professionally as a soloist with the Thirteen Strings, the Cantata Singers, Quatuor Despax, and The North York Concert Orchestra. She has also participated in Tafelmusik's Baroque Institute and the Victoria Conservatory of Music's Summer Oratorio Program. Her operatic roles include Sister Helen in Dead Man Walking by Jake Heggie at Opera NUOVA, Giulio Cesare at the Halifax Summer Opera Festival, Rosina with Pellegrini Opera, Cherubino in the Vancouver Summer Opera Studio, and 3e Fille du Rhin in Opera VMana's world premiere of Le Quatrième Enfant-Lune by Gabriel Thibeadeau. Heidi sings with the Ottawa Bach Choir, and enjoys teaching her private studio of voice, flute and piano students in .
