Nobody warned me that when you start your own company, you eat, sleep, and breathe it. I probably should be telling you that my three children made me who I am today. Alas, that is untrue. It's the company I started with my soon-to-be-husband that transformed me from Worker Bee for "The Man" to riding the rollercoaster of entrepreneurship. Together, we founded 1776 Productions, LLC, back in 2008. I emerse myself in all things digital (magazine apps and smartphone apps). It's exciting to have several apps in Apple's Top 10. I'm the designer 'round the office. It feeds my insatiable need to constantly create visually appealing things -- from the app designs to magazine articles. My design theory is to make us stand out from the crowd. And we do.
