Heidi McKern

I am a teacher at Lathrop Elementary School, currently living in Edgerton, Missouri. I have been teaching for five years. I taught kindergarten for two years, and just finished teaching my third year of first grade. I was also a paraprofessional for 1 1/2 years before I started teaching. I worked in both a classroom for children with severe autism and an elementary sped classroom. Before I began my journey into education, I was a stay-at-home mom while my children were very small, and then started my own home cleaning business. I continued with my business while completing my education degree.
