Welcome to my about me page! I'm Heidi Rhinehart, your learning technology consultant at McGraw-Hill. I'll be handling any of your text needs in the humanities, social sciences, world languages, and health and human performance.
I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin and came down to Dubuque, IA to attend Clarke University (August 2006-December 2009) for English and Communication, emphasis public relations and advertising. I did several internships throughout college, including a two month stint in London, England during summer 2009.
I began working at McGraw-Hill right after college in January 2010 and have had the opportunity to sell engineering, science, and math textbooks before coming back to my humanities background. During my first year at McGraw-Hill, I was also an online teaching assistant for Ashford University. In this position, I graded student papers for composition. It opened my eyes to some of the challenges in the humanities course areas and I am dedicated to resolving the large issues we are facing in composition courses.
I love my job and making faculty (and their student's) lives better with our content and technologies. I strive to find the right content and solutions for your students to provide them the learning experience they deserve to have. My focus is always on what benefits you and your students.
My vision is shared by the company and I am proud to work for a company that is re-imaging the classroom experience. With our adaptive suite, LearnSmart Advantage, and our content platform, Connect, I truly believe we change the way you and your students experience the classroom.
Please contact with me any questions or ideas. I'm here to make your life easier.
