Heidi Voight is an award-winning news anchor and reporter for NBC Connecticut. She can be seen weekday mornings from 4:30 to 7 a.m. anchoring NBC Connecticut Today alongside co-anchor Ted Koppy and First Alert Meteorologist Bob Maxon. Born and raised in Milford, Heidi brings her insight as a proud Connecticut native to her coverage of major news events across New England.

She was the first reporter live on the scene in the south end of Springfield, Massachusetts minutes after the deadly EF3 tornado on June 1st, 2011 with coverage that contributed to an Emmy award-winning newscast. In 2016, Heidi was recognized with six awards from the CT Society of Professional Journalists for her reporting on a range of issues including a series profiling fallen law enforcement officers and an investigation into state and federal funding of Connecticut's highway service patrol fleet.

A firm believer that journalism can and should make the world a better place, Heidi also uses her platform to advance numerous charitable causes and uncover compelling human interest stories. In 2016 she was inducted into the Gertrude O. Lewis Humanitarian Society, the highest honor bestowed by the Connecticut Humane Society, and was named one of Connecticut Magazine's "40 Under 40".

Heidi was born and raised in Milford, the "Small City with a Big Heart" on Connecticut's beautiful shoreline. Her greatest joy in life is being a mother - She and her husband, David, welcomed their identical twin girls Apolonia "Polly" Rose and Violet Concetta on Mother's Day 2018. She is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University and represented our state at the Miss America Pageant as Miss Connecticut 2006.
