Heiko Zwirner

Heiko has written about emerging artists and ageing playboys, nightlife entrepreneurs and vegan chefs, car manufacturers and standup comedians, polar bears and penguins, the return of black metal and the decline of indie rock, the effects of gentrification and the joy of sex. Among other things, that is.

His articles have been published by major newspapers and minor magazines. Heiko ran the editorial section of tip Berlin, the city's biggest magazine, as editor-in-chief for more than six years until he became a freelancer once again in early 2012. He is a passionate writer, an experienced project manager and a detail fanatic.

Heiko likes Olympic-size public pools, vinyl albums and Italian cuisine. He moved to Berlin in 1996 and has never been bored ever since.
