Eric Heinrich is a first year undergraduate student at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. He is working on obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and is concentrating in auditing and financial reporting. Eric plans to earn a Master of Accountancy at the Rawls College of Business as well. His grade point average in his first year is a 4.00 and he has been selected to be on the Texas Tech President’s List. His interest and experience in accounting stems from his work as a treasurer for his local Mu Alpha Theta chapter and for the Night Hawk Rocketry team, which participated in the NASA Student Launch Initiative. Eric has budgeted more than ten thousand dollars total for both organizations and has interacted with local business to create fundraising opportunities. He has also joined the Texas Tech Accounting Leadership Council to help bridge the gap between students, professors, and employers.
