Helen Borodina

Moscow, Russia.

I was born in Smolensk, Russia, where I went to school, art-school, music school and University (where I majored in languages). After graduation, I taught English at a college and wrote for a newspaper in Smolensk, and performed a bit as a jazz singer. And then moved to Moscow to work as a translator for a US non-profit organization and teach English in-company. Gradually I began getting into freelance work in translation and, occasionally, writing. I try to look for collaboration with creative and likeminded people, with projects where I can best develop the potential I have and use my experience to its best advantage.

My life passions are history, music, travel, all forms of art, photography, reading.

To me, life is about exploring, growth, improvement, discovery, doing good.
