Helena Van Den Heuvel

Hey there, I’m Helena - pronounced Hel-eeee-nahh to save us any confusion. Don't worry I won't ask you to pronounce my last name.

I have a passion for marketing, writing and design, but I also love people and learning everything I can about them. I'd like to think I'll make a great leader one day - I've watched almost every Simon Sinek video after all.

By day, I’m a Communications Advisor working for the Department of Regional NSW. I create strategic communication plans and collateral, and engage with the community. I also do a bit of freelancing as I generally can't sit still haha.

I live in sunny Newcastle by the beach, love music, reading and spending time with friends. I also volunteer at a dog rescue with walking and marketing, because dogs are the best, right?
