Helena Wittlich is a 26-year-old science journalist, specialized in the field of history of science and technology. She is also a graduate student at Technical University Berlin, working on her masters thesis on the space race and the history of spaceflight.
In 2013, Helena finished her B.A. in science journalism at the University of Applied Science in Darmstadt. During her undergraduate program she studied journalism and media studies as a Fulbright scholar at the Rutgers University, New Jersey and lived in New York for a while.
Helenas work as a journalist began in 2009 as a local reporter at the Mainzer Rhein-Zeitung, followed by three years as a student employee at faz.net. She is currently working for ZEIT ONLINE and as a freelance journalist.
