Hi, I'm Helen, owner and trainer at Cotati Dog Training. I have always had a deep love for dogs and a fascination with how they think, learn, and communicate with us.

What I love most about dog training is helping people understand their dogs. There's nothing more rewarding to me than watching the relationship between a dog and their person blossom when they begin communicating clearly with each other and both parties begin to get their needs met. The relief and joy I see at both ends of the leash will never stop leaving me happy and feeling very fulfilled.

At Cotati Dog Training, I believe that great dog training is about much more than teaching commands--it's about building solid communication skills, trust, and a better relationship between you and your dog. My methods are effective, humane and enjoyable for both dogs and their people. My approach is personalized because every dog, family and situation are different. I have been training dogs since 2011.
