Jeffy Tan is an interior designer, entrepreneur, currently living in Jakarta, Indonesia. She is the Principal of Atharya Studio, a boutique interior + architecture design firm with a portfolio encompassing over 5 years in luxury residential projects across metropolitan cities of Indonesia. Ms. Tan’s strong business acumen has received accolades from her peers and clients for devising creative solutions while preserving operational efficiencies. Leading a team of junior designers, architects, general contractors, craftsmen, artisans, under the brand ATHARYA, Ms. Tan continues to leave her impressive design footprints in Indonesia.
Educationally trained as an architect in the University of Southern California, Ms. Tan was awarded scholarships for her academic disciplinary. While still in college, she was commissioned to do several independent interior design projects for restaurateurs, homeowners, and furniture projects in California.
She also had the privilege to be working closely with the award-winning furniture designer - the genius behind Phase Design, Reza Feiz.
Prior to launching ATHARYA STUDIO, Ms. Tan also apprenticed under the famed architect, Mr. Thomas Elliott of PT. PAI in Jakarta.
When she is not busy playing with her design senses, Ms. Tan loves being at home with her canine companion named Elmo. When at home, she does her best preparing healthy organic home-cooked meals, meditating, or simply doing nothing.
And when she is not caught doing all of the above, she is usually out and about thinking and looking for charitable causes/ events to share with friends of HOPEandSTORY.
