Helping A Hero

Helping a Hero empowers severely wounded veterans returning from service in the War on Terror to become as independent as possible by partnering with them to design an adapted home that reclaims their independence. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit, nonpartisan organization is certified by the Better Business Bureau as transparent and accountable and calls for the cooperation of businesses, individuals, and public officials to accomplish its mission. Helping a Hero has awarded over 100 grants and adapted homes to wounded heroes nationwide.
