Founder of Veterans Memorial Park of Kentucky, Inc., a 501c3 organization (www.VPPKy.org). The Park will recognize those who served in the military, especially those who gave their lives in that service, and will educate the visitors, with a focus on the youth, in military history. Direct involvement of youth in Park development is a vital part of the project. The Park will be located on over 33,000 square feet of Oldham County (KY) school board property

Community involvement
Founded: four Boy Scout units, community chorus, civic club, interdenominational Christian men’s luncheon; Organized numerous service projects; attended Dominican Republic mission trips; organized project resulting in a section of a state highway being named Veterans Memorial Parkway
