Dr. Hemanth Rao currently serves as the president and CEO of United Sleep Medicine based in Charlotte, NC, where he helps patients battle insomnia and other sleep disorders. Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for more than 20 years, Dr. Hemanth Rao brings extensive knowledge and expertise to his Charlotte, NC, practice.
A 1988 medical school graduate of Madras Medical College in India, he came to the United States in 1990 to pursue an internship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He would go from there to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Long Island, where he eventually was named Chief Resident.
