I'm Hema Sai Charan — also known as hemAndroid. I'm a lead software engineer in Hyderabad, India, with 13 years of building mobile products across Flutter, native Android and native iOS.

I've worked on apps used by millions. At MoneyControl, Asia's largest stock market trading app for India & globally, I led the hybrid Flutter migration into a live native codebase — no rewrite, no release freeze.
At CITI Mobile, I built a server-driven UI engine before the pattern had a name. At Experian, I led 7 senior engineers across three domain teams on the Credit Score app. Along the way, I've owned architecture, set mobile standards, and carried features through to release.

Right now I'm building Inspectro — a VS Code extension that gives frontend developers a runtime inspector for their own running application: component tree, live prop editing, network, render performance and a real debugger, in one place, next to the source. It came out of years inside Flutter DevTools, and wondering why the web had nothing like it.

I'm speaking at React Advanced London 2026 on "Finding the Source: Building a Better Frontend Developer Experience." I organise the Flutter Hyderabad community, review Android and Flutter titles for Packt Publishing, and I've spoken at Google DevFest, IWD India and TensorFlow User Groups.
