Henil Shah

Hi, I’m Henil. I’m a first-year university student at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. I went to an international high-school in the UAE, so my education so far has exposed me to a variety of different cultures and identities, allowing me to develop an open-mindedness to new ideas and experiences in my life; I'm always prepared and motivated to experience something new and challenging.

I take interest in discovering stories, and so I enjoy reading and writing. I'm also intrigued in discovering more about the world through travel and photography. Though I'm not invested in politics, I do believe in equal rights to opportunities and freedom for all people regardless of their backgrounds or identities.

Professionally, I haven't developed much experience, having only worked on projects as part of my high school such as school-based MUN and TEDx events. However, I believe I am currently rather early in my career and have yet to discover a passion to work towards, so I'm open to experience a variety of working opportunities across different fields that will help me learn and grow.
