I'm afraid I am not very good at writing intelligible things about myself. The short story is that I have a bit of a twisted personality that never seems to find out exactly whether to write software, or to write music. So, I decided to do both. Software pays the bills. Music is what makes me, well basically: me. I spend most of my professional life architecting large distributed software systems. The older I get, the bigger and more complex the projects, or so it seems. Fortunately we have found a great answer to complexity. It's called abstraction. And boy, if you abstract enough, everything becomes really simple. Until you actually try to implement your ideas, that is. The ability to step hin and forth between abstractions and gory implementation details is my biggest forte.
