As a native of the African continent, Henner Diekmann has given his best to help develop the nation of Namibia. After Namibia achieved nationhood in 1990, Diekmann Associates was founded by Mr. Diekmann in 1993. He studied law at The University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, with the minor in commerce he earned becoming particularly important in his professional life.

Namibia is a relatively new country, but like any nation it needs to attract investment capital to finance economic development. Mr. Diekmann has spent his life creating opportunities for national development in Namibia and making sure that the right projects get legal assistance when it comes to gaining access to funding.

He also has a keen interest in the capital markets and uses his personal knowledge to altruistic social ends, which has helped him to create social development in the up-and-coming resource rich country that he calls home.

When he finds free time in his busy schedule, he enjoys travelling and studying the international economy. He has visited a number of countries over the course of his life and he connects all of his learning to his home nation of Namibia.

Venture capital is also of interest to him, as it creates a dynamic that allows small companies to grow into social structures that better the world as a whole. He enjoys the risk and work involved in nurturing a promising idea to fruition and then enjoying the fruits of his labours.

The arts have always been a sirens’ song for Mr. Diekmann and he found the recent musical by Trey Parker and Matt Stone to be very entertaining. ‘The Book of Mormon’ was a comedic work and its brilliance wasn't lost on him.

Many of the projects that Mr. Diekmann has worked on have yielded significant benefits for his local community. He currently works for the law firm that he started and lives in Windhoek, Namibia. He also enjoys piloting civilian aircraft and has done so since 1995.
