Henrik Jones established Buckhill Capital in 1999 with the aim of making alternative investments. The firm is dedicated to supporting companies that enhance resource efficiency, provide educational opportunities for employment, and foster resilient communities. Currently, Buckhill Capital is concentrating on supply chain management within the consumer products sector and online platforms that prioritize user data considerations.

Before founding Buckhill Capital, Jones was instrumental in developing the Real Assets Portfolio at Hall Capital Partners, where he expanded it to $1.3 billion. His entrepreneurial ventures include co-founding and leading several startups such as Answers.com, BBrooks Fine Flowers, and serving as a partner at InterMedia Partners. Jones began his professional journey at JP Morgan in 1984, where he contributed to the formation of the Media and Entertainment Corporate Finance Group.

Jones is actively involved on the boards of organizations like the Edible Schoolyard Project and Human Needs Project and is a partner at Gratitude Railroad. His previous board memberships include SFFILM, Higg Co, and Leadership Public Schools, and he has participated in the investment committees of Marin Country Day School and Gateway High School. He holds a BA from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
