About Me

Hello, my name is Henrique. I am 19 years old and a Civil Engineering student at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), Brazil. I have always been passionate about exact sciences and the logic behind engineering — understanding how the world works through numbers is something that truly fascinates me.

Throughout my academic journey, I have been approved in several highly competitive programs in engineering and exact sciences, including Civil Engineering and Physics at UFPR, Electrical Engineering at UFPR, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and other engineering programs at UTFPR, Production Engineering at UFSC, and Software Engineering at PUCPR.

Chess holds a special place in my life. I am deeply engaged with the game and have won a silver medal in a city championship. My favorite piece is the knight, perhaps because of its strategic and unpredictable movement across the board.

I am also passionate about reading. My favorite book is The Black Forest, by Rafael Porfírio, a suspense novel set in southeastern Germany, surrounded by mystery and an intense atmosphere that left a lasting impression on me.

Games are also one of my greatest passions. I am especially fascinated by franchises such as Resident Evil, The Last of Us, Tomb Raider, Call of Duty, and Final Fantasy, among many others. I appreciate games not only for entertainment, but also for their storytelling, atmosphere, strategy, and emotional depth.

Cinema and storytelling strongly influence my interests, especially science-focused films such as Interstellar, Ad Astra, The Theory of Everything, The Imitation Game, and Oppenheimer — stories that combine science, history, human complexity, and deep reflection. Among series, my favorites are Peaky Blinders and The Queen's Gambit, both for their psychological depth, strategy, and atmosphere.

Classical music is part of my daily life, especially the compositions of Ludwig van Beethoven. I play the violin — an interest inspired by my grandmother, whose love for music introduced me to the instrument and made me appreciate it deeply. I also enjoy Russian music, appreciating its depth, emotion, and unique cultural atmosphere.

Besides Portuguese, I have an advanced level of English and I am currently studying French. In sports, I practice swimming and fencing, the latter becoming a true passion since my first contact with it. My weapon of choice is the foil.

Outside the university, I am currently taking an in-person course focused on essential software for Civil Engineering. I study AutoCAD, which serves as the fundamental base for technical drawing; Revit, which represents the future of engineering through BIM (Building Information Modeling); and Civil 3D, a powerful differential tool used for infrastructure design and large-scale projects.

I also take an Industrial Electrical course because electricity has always been a subject I am deeply passionate about.

I intentionally maintain a highly structured and demanding routine, filling my schedule with studies and productive activities in order to maximize knowledge acquisition — often leaving little to no time for distractions or even responding to messages.

I am also a supporter of Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense, following football as another personal passion.

Traveling is another passion of mine. I have visited Berlin, Frankfurt, and Munich in Germany, as well as Santiago, Buenos Aires, and Asunción.

I value my own company, silence, and moments of solitude. I find comfort in studying, reflecting, and constantly learning. I tend to view life through reason rather than emotion, and I do not believe in romantic love — preferring independence, self-knowledge, and personal growth as guiding principles.

Nice to meet you.
