Dr. Henry Wong was accepted into the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry with an entrance scholarship in 1998. During his dental education, he was chosen to participate in an Externship program in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the University of Maryland, where he spent an entire summer working in the Operating Room. After obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto in 2002, he went on to complete a one year General Practice Residency at the Yale-New Haven Hospital, an affiliate of the Yale University Medical School. He then decided to come back to practice in Toronto and has been in private practice since. Whenever possible he would spend time in the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto as a clinical instructor for the dental students. During his free time, Dr. Wong takes on another role, giving back to the community and helping those in need. He was a Board of Director for The Carefirst Foundation for the past 4 years, and was the Co-Chair of the Porsche Concours 2009 in support of the Norman Bethune Medical Relief Fund.
