Dr. Adetunji Busayo Henry is a newly qualified Medical Doctor from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Nigeria. With a fervent commitment to social impact, he has dedicated over three years to spearheading projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing health outcomes, education, fostering community development, and ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare in under-served communities across South West Nigeria.
His academic pursuits are deeply rooted in research, with a keen focus on surgical outcomes, equality and equity, as well as translational medicine. Dr. Adetunji is driven by the goal of minimizing the delay between the onset of clinical symptoms and access to standard healthcare facilities for patients in low-income communities.
A champion for the health of individuals in marginalized areas, Dr. Adetunji has been instrumental in organizing and leading numerous community health awareness programs. His efforts have not only raised health consciousness but have also facilitated better health outcomes in these communities.
With a profound interest in General Surgery, particularly in the Colorectal Cancer and Hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) Surgery, Dr. Adetunji is eager to explore research opportunities, observerships, post-doctoral research positions, and academic roles.
