I'm a University of Texas alum and recently retired from NASA after 42 years of service, primarily in the Space Shuttle & Space Station Programs. Most recently, I worked with the Astronaut Office, Aircraft Operations, Flight Operations Directorate (e.g., Mission Control & Neutral Buoyancy Lab) at the Johnson Space Center (Houston, Texas).

Since the 1980's, I've performed as an actor in community theater, appearing in 20 musicals, comedies, & dramas and recently became active in theater again, playing Kris Kringle in "Miracle on 34th Street" and then Doc Myers in "Leading Ladies" at Clear Creek Community Theatre.

I'm now an officer on the NASA Alumni League Board of Directors and an Advisor for Titan Space Technologies. I also volunteer with the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, Space Center Houston, and Girlstart, among others.
