I'm a University of Texas alum and recently retired from NASA after 42 years of service, primarily in the Space Shuttle & Space Station Programs. Most recently, I worked with the Astronaut Office, Aircraft Operations, Flight Operations Directorate (e.g., Mission Control & Neutral Buoyancy Lab) at the Johnson Space Center (Houston, Texas).

In the 1980's, I performed as an actor in community theater, appearing in 16 musicals, comedies, & dramas and recently became active in theater again, playing Kris Kringle in "Miracle on 34th Street" & Doc Myers in "Leading Ladies" at Clear Creek Community Theatre.

I'm now an officer on the NASA Alumni League Board of Directors and also volunteer with the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, Space Center Houston, and Girlstart, among others.
