I'm a University of Texas alum and retired from NASA after 42 years of service, primarily in the Space Shuttle & Space Station Programs. Most recently, I worked with the Astronaut Office, Aircraft Operations, Flight Operations Directorate (e.g., Mission Control & Neutral Buoyancy Lab) at the Johnson Space Center (Houston, Texas).

Since the 1980's, I've performed as an actor in community theater, appearing in 25 musicals, comedies, & dramas. I most recently played Kris Kringle in "Miracle on 34th Street" and then Doc Myers in "Leading Ladies" at Clear Creek Community Theatre.

I'm now an officer on the NASA Alumni League Board of Directors and on the “Remembering Columbia” Museum Board of Directors.. I also volunteer with the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation and Space Center Houston.
