Herbert Biryomumaisho

Herbert holds certification as both a general accountant and chartered professional accountant, Herbert Biryomumaisho earned his master of business administration with distinction from Heriot-Watt University’s Edinburgh Business School in Edinburgh, Scotland. Over the course of his 10-year career as a financial services professional, Herbert Biryomumaisho garnered considerable experience in areas that range from the management of hedge and private equity funds to the filing of financial/nonfinancial reports and the adherence to applicable regulatory guidelines.

Herbert Biryomumaisho currently provides a range of accounting services to reinsurance clients and insurance-linked securities (ILS) funds. His reinsurance work includes reviewing new reinsurance contracts, calculating/recording premiums and related commissions, reconciling collateral amounts, initiating collateral payments, performing monthly cash reconciliations, and completing monthly valuations. This is in addition to supervising annual audits. In service of ILS funds, Mr. Biryomumaisho primarily capitalizes re-insurance contracts and catastrophe bonds, executing specific duties such as calculating management/incentive fees and processing monthly net asset value.
