Herbert Daniel Gomagallah is a Nigerian development economist, creative strategist, and educator whose career spans teaching, media, branding, and development communications.
Born in Fuskan Mata, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State, Gomagallah began his professional journey in 2001 as a primary school teacher in Mc Alley. During this period, he earned a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Jos and later obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the same institution.
In 2015, he joined Jos Electricity Distribution PLC, serving first as a Marketer and later as a Revenue Cycle Manager. He subsequently expanded his career into media and communications, working as Head of New Media at Del Media Productions, where he led digital campaigns and content strategies.
A lifelong writer, Gomagallah was Editor-in-Chief of Enhakore Magazine, his home church youth fellowship’s publication, more than two decades ago. He later founded WeJosRock NG Limited, a social enterprise and media-driven brand and marketing company dedicated to reshaping narratives about Jos and promoting its culture, people, and opportunities. Through this platform, he has developed marketing communication strategies for organizations, government agencies, and advocacy initiatives.
He holds a Master’s degree in Political Economy and Development Studies from the University of Jos and has contributed to several media projects, including Date My Family Nigeria on Africa Magic Showmax and Real Housewives of Abuja. He has also delivered lectures and trainings on creative communication, social media marketing, and brand storytelling.
Beyond his professional work, Gomagallah is passionate about creative writing, travel, reading, and teaching. He is the author of We Need You Poor So That We Can Rule: The Voice of the Political Manipulator.
