Herb Schraml

Herb Schraml is a world-renowned German-American Muralist and Master Artist classically trained in Munich, Germany at the Academie' of Art. Growing up in WWII Germany, his family sufferered many hardships. He found solace in drawing and painting.

Having immigrated to the US in 1959 at the age of 23, he made his home in Spanaway, Washington and eventually moved to Leavenworth, Washington. He is a true entrepreneur and has owned his business for 50+ years and has taught art to thousands!

Throughout the years, he has developed a huge fanbase. His works of art range from the beauty of the mountains to the wonders of the ocean to the views of the desert to florals to abstracts and everything in-between.

Herb was one of the first muralists sought out to turn Leavenworth into a gorgeous and authentic Bavarian paradise. Today, he has gorgeous murals that can be seen throughout Northwest and Germany. In May of 2009, at the age of 72, he updated one of his murals in Leavenworth.

Being an Artist isn't an easy task. It requires talent, imagination, creativity, vision, passion, business expertise, and the ability to turn a person's idea into something real.

Gaining the attention of art lovers worldwide, Herb has been commissioned to create private pieces for some of the biggest families and companies in the US and Germany. He's also received various awards and continued praise.

Personally, Herb has a great sense of humor and is always on the go - traveling around the US and continuing his artistic masterpieces! He deeply loves his family and friends. An unknown fact about Herb is that he used to race cars and won all the time!
